Bird- table or bird feeder is a platform on which food for birds is placed, usually in a garden. Bird feeders offer the best way to turn your own backyard into a mini oasis for the wild birds in your area. They are usually filled with a variety of grains to suit the different species of our feathered friends. The most popular varieties of seeds include millet, safflower, sunflower and thistle.

If you are like me then you already enjoy home vegetable gardening. For me it is relaxing, educational, a good source for decent exercise but most of all rewarding. I am not talking financially rewarding, but rewarding in a sense of, at the end of a growing season I have something to show for all my efforts and that is plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Herbs are the most fascinating member of the plants family. Cultivating a herb garden offers unique rewards for the intrepid hortulan devotee. There are many secretive questions in regard to herb gardening. The best herb garden secret is that herb plants are very easy to grow. Compared to the typical vegetable or flower garden a herb project is very "low maintenance." They require only two things to prosper. One is plenty of sunlight and the other is well drained soil in which to rest their roots. Meet these two requests and herbs can be successfully grown almost anywhere indoors or outside.
When you plan out for your planting calendar for your open-air flower garden, there are few things that you must bear in mind. Two of the major aspects are what kind of plant you like to plant and what kind of climate you live in, as these are very significant aspects in your planting calendar. An additional thing to factor is the present climate because each year might be different. If you already have an early spring plants, you might have to stop to plant them until you are guarantee that the final ice is disappeared if it's a principally freezing year. The great time to begin your flower garden would be really dependent on the kind of plant that you want to see bloom.

If you're a homeowner, you probably can't resist having your own garden where children can play and you can sit back and unwind. A garden is one place where we feel we are one with Nature and enjoy the small pleasures of life. But without potted plants and flowers, a home garden is incomplete. If you need to find inspiration on what kinds of plans will look good, look at your neighbors' gardens and take note of what varieties of plants are being planted. That’ll give you an idea of what grows in your area.

1. Praying mantis
The female of this insect has already become synonymous of a despotic lover. During copulation, a male praying mantis loses his head for his partner.
During the sexual act the female eats her partner! This is one of the weirdest nature phenomenon known. Although the concept of a lover as a main dish for dinner might be quite frightening (especially for males :) , among the insects such cannibalism is quite common
