Liveoutside garden products are committed to innovative product development and manufacturing. Our products are manufactured to the highest standards. Advanced treatment process with permanent wood preservative provides complete protection against rot and insect attack for up to 10 years. Please notice that 10 years guarantee applies only to products which have no contact with the ground. Otherwise durability of the wood is reduced.

The life of a building depends upon it's foundations. It is vitally important that your base is firm, level, square and large enough to accommodate the building you have ordered. Ideally, your garden building should be installed on a flat concrete slab which is unlikely to sink or break up. A thickness of 50 to 100mm is required, depending upon the size and type of building that you have ordered. As an alternative, concrete paving slabs or decking bases may be laid but they should still be level, unlikely to sink at any point and completely cover the area of base required. If you have any doubts concerning the base seek advice from a local builder.

All of the timbers are pressure impregnated using the most advanced formulation of permanent wood preservative which guarantees our products for many years against decay, weathering and insect attack.

Pressure treatment is a lifetime preservative treatment. The preservative is forced into the timber under pressure in a vacuum and penetrates below the surface. All other treatments apply a coat of stain to the surface of the timber only. With pressure impregnated timber, the chemicals are permanently fixed in the wood.

All liveoutside garden buildings can be delivered to your door complete with a professional full installation service for as little as £345.

Our experienced builders will have your building erected and ready for use on the same day for maximum convenience and minimum disruption. If you cannot be available on the day of installation the installers will gladly carry on with the work without anybody being home. To order our professional installation service please choose this option on your shopping cart at the time of making your purchase.

Vibrant colour schemes can make your garden structures even more eye-catching

Traditionally, garden structures are painted smartly but plainly. But is this really your only option? If you want to exercise your creativity, you could opt to give your garden a splash of colour by painting your garden structures brightly. There’s no reason to restrict yourself to plain, uniform colour schemes when decorating the structures in your garden; feel free to express yourself instead!

Larger, more complicated structures such as gazebos and garden arbours can often look spectacular when painted using multiple different colours. You may even choose to pair plainer colours with brighter ones in order to create a visually remarkable contrast. For example, you could paint the majority of a gazebo white but give it a striking red roof. Of course, if you have a reasonably high level of artistic ability or the patience to paint very carefully, you may wish to experiment with painting larger garden structures with elaborate or interesting patterns.

However, it may not be advisable to apply multiple paint colours to smaller or less complex garden structures, such as fencing and garden arches. This is because the smaller, simpler structures may be overwhelmed somewhat by more complicated colour schemes. But you can still paint them bright, cheerful colours to give them a more arresting appearance.

Of course, if you want to paint your garden structures brightly, it’s important to apply a consistent overall colour scheme across all your different structures. This will help unify the different parts of your garden and prevent your selected colours from looking garish or mismatched. You might be surprised how good brightly-hued garden structures can look, provided you utilise a consistent overall colour scheme.

In a previous blog entry, we mentioned that winter is the perfect time to repaint certain garden structures, as you won’t have to remove or work around verdant plant-life to apply the paint. Choosing to paint your garden structures using bright, vibrant colours is a particularly good idea during the winter months, as it will enable them to bring cheer to your garden during the bleakest time of the year. So if you’ve got garden structures that need a fresh coat of paint, don’t be afraid to unleash your creative side!
